Over time, I’ve noticed a pattern in my clients. They arrive feeling unsure, yet bring curiosity, courage and responsibility to the work. They’re willing to reflect, take small risks, and stay with the process. That mindset — more than answers — is what leads people to change.
Creativity doesn’t usually find me at my desk. It finds me when my mind has space to wander — on morning runs, quiet walks, moments without pressure. I’ve learned that ideas don’t respond to urgency.
How do you find your creativity?
It is such a busy time of the year; We run from office deadlines to nativity plays followed by Christmas parties. There are gifts and meals still to be organised. It made me think about sacrifices. It comes in so many areas of life: Money vs Fulfilment, Sleep vs Productivity, and Health vs Convenience.
When is a sacrifice worth it? When does it become toxic?
Many people torment themselves after making mistakes, leading to stress and anxiety. Recognizing and understanding triggers can help break the cycle of rumination. Techniques like mindfulness, exercise, and journaling can calm the mind.
Rejection is painful and can have a long term impact on our mental health. It impacts our self-esteem, leaving us feeling unworthy, not accepted, not lovable.
Learn some strategies of coping with rejection by understanding it, accepting and finding a solution.
